The view of the Photograph

As a Theologian I seek to see.

To see with the Clarity of Mind and

with the Light of the Heart.

I seek to look inward, outward, upward, above.

I want to look deeper.

The inner View and the exterior View are in relationship to each other.

In the exterior View, we can recognize the Inside behind the Outside.

The exterior and the inner View can complement each other.

We can see something of God by contemplating the Creation and see its beauty.

The Photographer's Camera "sees" in a special way.

The Technology, created by human Knowledge,

makes it possible to recognize something through Photography,

which the Eye sees differently.

By freezing the Moment it can show reality in a complementary way to the Eye.

The Photo may show something different from what the Eye may see.

A Moment can be trapped and stopped.

What we see as Movements can be frozen,

while what appears Stationary can be seen moving.

The Waves of the Sea can be halted to a blank Surface.

The Motion of the Clouds can be amplified,

due to the Camera's different relationship to Time.

The Reality seems to be transformed.

The Photograph can add to the Perception of the Viewer.

The Light is painting the Image

The Light bestows Colours,

The Light warms or cools,

shadowing or blinding.

The Photography is of the Art of Light.

God created Light and saw it was good.

God divided Light from Darkness.

God divided the Waters above and below the Firmament.

God created Heaven and Earth

and saw it was good.

La luz en la creación

La mirada del fotógrafo

Como teólogo busco ver.

Ver con la claridad de la mente

y con la luz del corazón.

Trato de mirar hacia adentro, hacia afuera,

hacia arriba, hacia abajo.

Quiero mirar más profundamente.

La mirada interior y la exterior están relacionadas entre sí.

En la mirada exterior podemos reconocer el interior que está detrás del exterior.

La vista del exterior y del interior pueden complementarse entre sí.

Podemos ver algo de Dios contemplando la creación y su belleza.

La cámara del fotógrafo "ve" de una manera especial.

La tecnología, creada por el conocimiento humano,

hace que sea posible reconocer algo a través de fotografía,

algo que el ojo ve de una manera diferente.

Al congelar el momento, se puede mostrar la realidad

de forma complementaria a la de los ojos.

La foto puede mostrar algo diferente de lo que el ojo puede ver.

Un momento puede quedar atrapado y detenido.

Lo que vemos como movimientos, pueden ser congelados;

mientras que lo que parece estacionario puede verse en movimiento.

Las olas del mar pueden detenerse en una superficie en blanco.

El movimiento de las nubes puede ser amplificado,

debido a la diferente relación de la cámara con el tiempo.

La realidad parece ser transformada.

La fotografía puede aumentar la percepción del espectador.

La luz pinta la imagen.

La luz otorga los colores.

La luz calienta o enfría,

ensombrece o ciega.

La fotografía es del arte de la luz.

Dios creó la luz y vio que era buena.

Dios separó la luz de la oscuridad.

Dios dividió las aguas arriba y el firmamento abajo.

Dios creó el cielo y la tierra

y vio que era bueno.

Le regard du photographe

L’œil  du photographe

Comme théologien je cherche à voir !

Voir avec un esprit clair

Voir avec un cœur lumineux

Je cherche à regarder au dedans, au-dehors

En bas, en haut

Je veux regarder toujours plus en profondeur

Le regard intérieur et l’extérieur sont intimement liés

Avec le regard extérieur je peux reconnaître l’intérieur de l’extérieur

Le regard extérieur et l’intérieur peuvent être complémentaires

Je peux voir quelque chose de Dieu dans les merveilles de sa création.

L’appareil-photo « voit » d’une manière particulière

La technologie créée par la science humaine

Rend possible  la découverte de quelque chose,

Quelque chose que l’œil voit autrement

En fixant un instant furtif on rend présente une réalité

Mais de manière différente  que ne le fait l’œil.

Un instant peut rester figé, fermé.

Ce que nous saisissons en mouvement peut paraître  inerte

Alors que  ce qui parait immobile peut être perçu en mouvement.

Les vagues de la mer peuvent se figer en surface lisse

Le mouvement des nuages peut être accéléré.

Parce que l’appareil-photo est en décalage avec le temps

Le réel se transforme

La photo amplifie la perception de l’œil.

La lumière peint l’image

La lumière dégage les couleurs

La lumière réchauffe  ou refroidit

Assombrit ou aveugle

La photographie est l’art de la lumière

Dieu créa la lumière. Elle était bonne

Dieu sépara la lumière de l’obscurité

Dieu plaça les eaux en bas et le firmament en haut

Dieu créa le ciel et la terre

Et il vit que cela était bon !
